Tatyana Cristina is a Portuguese visual artist (b. 2001, Lisbon). She lives and works in Lisbon, where she maintains her studio. She completed a BA in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in 2023 and a Postgraduate degree in Museology and Museography at the same institution in 2025. In 2025 she was selected to exhibit at the MUSEU in dialogue with Vera Mota within the exhibition programme *Jogo do Sério*, organised by CAPC (Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra) and curated by Daniel Madeira. In the same year she also took part in several artistic residencies, notably a residency at Córtex – Frontal, by invitation of Manuel Santos Maia, within the programme of the Maia Biennial of Contemporary Art, and a residency at Zaratan – Arte Contemporânea, where mentors included António Olaio, Stéphane Blumer, João Fonte Santa and Nuno Direitinho. In 2026 she presented her first solo exhibition, *Herbário Clínico*, curated by Constança Pupo Cardoso, with a text by Maria Brás Ferreira, at Espaço Cultural Mercês, Lisbon. In recent years she has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including: *Escadas e Patamares #1*, a project by Ana Pérez-Quiroga, curated by Maria do Mar Fazenda, Lisbon (2026); *Em Obras*, Zaratan – Arte Contemporânea (2025); *Minha Casa* – Apartment at 275 Rua de São Bento, 1º Dto., Lisbon, curated by David Willis and Carolina Piçarra (2025); *22/09/22*, Temporary Exhibition Hall, Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes, Lisbon (2024); *No Começo da Estrada*, Temporary Exhibition Gallery of the Portalegre Tapestry Museum (2023); and *Emergências – Ensino Artístico e Criação Têxtil*, part of Contextile 2022 – Contemporary Textile Art Biennial, Guimarães (2022).
